About us 

 The Bendigo Art Society is a group for people involved in all facets of the Visual Arts to meet for mutual support, to share information, further skills, enjoy artistic activities and promote local art and artists.         

      These include:       

  • Monthly indoor meetings
  • Plein Air Meetings
  • Workshops with Professional Artists                    
  • Art Exhibitions     
  • Plein Air Trips Away.

     Our objectives are to:    

  • Support, Encourage & Enjoy Artistic Activities
  • To Develop skills of members at all Individual Levels
  • Promote Local Artists through our regular Art Shows.

   

        In Pursuit of Artistic Goals, Our Group;

  • Meets at Mandurang Public Hall, Corner of Sedgwick & Nankervis Roads, Mandurang, on the Second Tuesday of each month, from10am to 1pm.
  • Has a monthly Plein Air meeting as advertised on our Facebook Page, Bendigo Art Society & Plein Air Group.
  • Has inspiring meetings outlining different creative techniques and creative ideas with guest speakers from within and without the group.
  • Provides the opportunity and time for members to share and support each other’s art and creative expressions.
  • Holds 2 annual exhibitions and provides other opportunities for members to display and promote their art.
  • Conducts one and two day workshops with special guest artists.
