Artist’s Statement

The Sky links me to Heaven, the Wind links me to the Spirit, Natures sounds link me to a Voice beyond my own. I project something more than a re-representation of what I simply see, but that which reflects what I feel, think and experience on a deeper level. These things combine to reflect my deep Christian Faith. I call my style Colorist Expressionist. My colors are rich and bright. I use thick lashings of paint. Every expression is unique to the subject matter. Some works are realistic, some more imaginative, some softer and moodier, some vibrant. I work in many mediums.

Main Exhibitions Award Studies

I first exhibited when I was 21 and have continued to exhibit since. I have a BA in fine art. Major Solo exhibitions include Torii Gallery in Strathfieldsaye, Latrobe Gallery, Celebration Arts, St Johns in South Gate, Melbourne and Dudley House in Bendigo.
